Story Engagement

Your Strength

Key Points:

Upload all of your stories during peak times, which is typically 6–8 pm for wherever your audience is based. Check your insights to know where most of them are located.

Wait until 24 hours have passed and your story has disappeared before uploading the next set of stories.

If you’re offering something, such as a digital course or membership, don’t put the link in your bio. Instead of trying to get people to click the link, set up a ManyChat automation. In your story, ask them to message you with a keyword like “meditation” or “yoga” (whatever the course is about), and then you can send them the link directly.

Make your first story engaging by adding text, a poll, a question, or anything that encourages interaction, so it has more view time. This is why using ManyChat is better than directing people to click a link — it keeps them on your feed, increases interactions, and Instagram will see that your account is getting more engagement, which boosts your visibility in the algorithm.

The more likes and reactions you get on a story, the better for your reach.

Make the first upload the most interesting. Get straight to the point — make it beautiful, feature yourself speaking, or show something you love doing.
